I just ate ten dollars’ worth of melon (assorted!) as an afternoon snack.
Really hope this heat breaks soon so I can go back to baking (free, depending on what ingredients are in the house) and sweet potatoes (a dollar each—Recession food that isn’t depressing)!

I hate that Fox makes Joe Buck pull sportscasting double-duty. It’s not that I hate Joe Buck (I’m not his biggest fan, but I’ve heard worse), it’s that I get confused when I hear his voice from across the room and I don’t know if he’s calling a football game or a baseball game.
I guess it’s cost-effective, though.

I wish someone had told me about the real point of Fashion’s Night Out, which was obviously to get people drunk and lower their purchasing guard.
I mean, how else do you end up with a custom-made crystal-and-sand-in-a-jar necklace created specially for you based on a short palm reading for the purposes of aura-detection?
